The Real Mary
The real Mary was an unwed, pregnant teenage girl in first century Palestine whose response to the angel Gabriel shifted the tectonic plates of history. bob, thanks for posting this. i especially liked chapters 12 and 13 on “protestants, roman catholics and mary,” where mcknight addresses stereotypes within the Church.
