Gary Travis
Gary Travis is a CCO Associate, volunteering his time to reach out to students in Philadelphia. He retired after serving for 38 years as a music teacher in the School District of Philadelphia.
"I was at Indiana University of Pennsylvania as a freshman in 1971 when the CCO was first launched," says Gary. "My friends and I were among the first cohort of students who were influenced by the ministry of CCO. "I now sense God's call to serve college students. I am on the Drexel campus almost every day, students live on my block, and our church is located right off campus. I remember how as a young Christian it was so helpful for me to be plugged in to a campus fellowship and to be mentored by Christian leaders."
