Heather Strong Moore
CCO Associate Heather Strong Moore reaches out to students in Indianapolis, Indiana, where she serves as Associate Pastor of Local Outreach and Global Missions with Southport Church.
Heather most recently ministered to students at the University of Memphis and Southwest Tennessee Community College in partnership with Hope Church. Prior to that, she served the CCO as Partnership Coordinator for Northwest Pennsylvania, maintaining and developing positions with churches, colleges and other organizations through which our staff people reach out to college students.
Heather is a graduate of Messiah College and of Slippery Rock University, where she earned her master's degree in counseling. She first joined CCO staff in 2008 to minister to students at Slippery Rock in partnership with Grace Anglican Church. Heather enjoyed the years she served as an arm of a local church congregation in outreach to college students.
"College is a crucial time when young people decide on the path they want to follow for the rest of their lives," says Heather. "I have had the privilege of walking alongside students as they seek to be the people God is calling them to be."
